Deep dark mahogany color. Rich, seductive flavors of molasses, chewy toffee, and dark pit fruit, all leading to a roasted malty finish.

Exciting aromas– like a citrus-filled fruit basket. It’s a beer with attitude. The foundation of this beer is very malty, marrying nicely with the bold hop notes that emerge on the palate and ultimately dominate it’s lingering finish. A beer not soon forgotten.
Silver Medal Colorado State Fair 2000; 1st Place, Ale Category, Vail Brewfest 2003; Silver Medal Great American Beer Festival 2003; Gold Medal, Colorado State Fair 2005; Bronze Award, World Beer Cup 2006; Silver Medal North American Beer Awards 2006.
Brilliant gold color. Soft, dry, malty aroma with a delicate hop presence. Light in body. Soft, clean, delicately malty flavors becoming gently dry on the finish. A lager should be thirst quenching and it should have character too. This beer accomplishes both– and with style!
Antique amber color. This beer becomes more appreciated the more you get acquainted with it. It doesn’t slap you in the face with hops or alcohol on the first sip or two. Rather, its satisfying balance of flavors, along with its ability to be both flavorful and very drinkable, makes this beer universally appealing regardless of mood or situation.
Gold Medal, People’s Choice Award, Peak Radio Brew Fest 1997, 1998; Gold Medal, Colorado State Fair 2005; BEST IN SHOW, Colorado State Fair 2005.
Cloudy with a thick, fluffy head. This beer is proof that an extremely thirst-quenching beer can also be full of complex flavors. Its texture is rich, creamy, and silky. In flavor, notes of vanilla, banana, and plum entertain the palate, with a hint of clove on the finish.
Gold Medal, Colorado State Fair 1997; Bronze Medal Colorado State Fair 1998; Bronze Medal Colorado State Fair 1999.
Ruby marmalade color. It is distinctive enough to like your first go at it, but also nicely balanced and drinkable enough to ensure its staying power. Its most notable flavor notes are caramel malt, finishing with a dry, somewhat tongue-coating hoppy finish.
Gold Award World Beer Cup 1998; Gold Medal Great American Beer Festival 1998; Silver Medal Colorado State Fair 1999; Gold Medal Colorado State Fair 2000; Gold Medal Colorado State Fair 2001; Silver Medal Great American Beer Festival 2001; Silver Medal Colorado State Fair 2002; Bronze Award World Beer Cup 2004; Silver Medal, Colorado State Fair 2005.
The unique flavor and appearance of this beer comes from a special German yeast strain. Blend that with a touch of dark wheat, and what you get is The Bull & Bush Brewery’s version of a winter wheat beer!
